PLANS, MEMBERS, AND RENEWALS

From joining to renewing. One member record.

Membership work does not end at sign-up. Give your team a clear view of the plan, the current period, and the payment that comes next.

Set the terms once

Create a membership plan from an existing Payments product. Choose the billing interval, trial days, grace period, and automatic-renewal setting, then use the plan when adding members.

Know where each member stands

Link a membership to a CRM person. See their plan, active or paused status, current period, and renewal setting together. Filter by person, plan, status, or memberships ending soon.

Find the payments that need a closer look

Review pending, successful, failed, and awaiting-payment renewals. Open the related invoice, inspect the collection status, and use the available processing or retry action when appropriate.

WHY SPACEBRAIN

The relationship and the renewal belong together.

Give your team one connected path from the member to their plan and the payment that needs attention.

DISCONNECTED SETUP

Separate lists leave the next step unclear.

Member details live apart from customer history
Expiry dates need a separate reminder list
Payment follow-up starts by searching for the invoice
WITH SPACEBRAIN

Review the member with the right context.

A membership links to a CRM person
Current-period and expiry filters surface the right members
Renewal records link to their invoice when one exists
THE COST OF DISCONNECTION
A renewal setting is not the same as a paid invoice.

INSIDE MEMBERSHIPS

The details that keep membership work organized.

Build on your existing catalog

A membership plan takes its price and currency from a Payments product, keeping your offer connected to the billing record.

Add the person, not another isolated profile

Choose a CRM person, an active plan, a start date, and the renewal setting. An optional customer photo helps your team recognize the member.

Catch the end of a period

Use the “Ending in 7 days” and “Expired” filters to find memberships that need attention. Review the current period and whether renewal is automatic.

Control what your team can enroll

Activate or deactivate plans. Only active plans are offered when adding a member, so your team works from the current set of offers.

Go from a renewal to its invoice

Review the renewal period, amount, collection mode, and status. Open the linked Payments invoice when one has been created.

Keep changes with the right people

Membership editing and plan management follow the permissions available to the signed-in team member.

CONNECTED TO YOUR EXISTING WORK

Your customer record and billing catalog. Working together.

Memberships uses the people and products already in Spacebrain. Your team can review the membership without maintaining a second customer database.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Memberships, explained.

What do I need before adding a member?

Create a Payments product and an active membership plan first. Then choose a CRM person, the plan, a start date, and the renewal setting.

Can plans include a trial or grace period?

Yes. Membership plan settings include trial days, grace-period days, a billing interval, and an automatic-renewal preference.

How can I find memberships ending soon?

The Members page includes “Ending in 7 days” and “Expired” filters. You can also filter by CRM person, plan, and membership status.

Does automatic renewal mean every payment has succeeded?

No. Review the renewal status. A renewal can be pending, processing, awaiting payment, failed, succeeded, or skipped. The related invoice and collection details show what needs attention.

Can I stop offering a plan?

Yes. Deactivate the plan to remove it from the active choices used when adding a member.

Are member details connected to my CRM?

Yes. You choose a CRM person when creating a membership. The member list shows the person’s name and email alongside their plan, period, and renewal status.
